Residential Lighting and Controls (3 Part Series)

PG&E’s Energy Centers offers these introductory and intermediate classes for residential designers, electrical contractors and others in the building industry cover a range of considerations for specifying and designing the lighting and lighting controls, including how to assess product features and work with lighting professionals. The first session in the series covers how to design residential lighting so it is energy efficient, beautiful and complies with codes using best practices. In the second session, the instructor will discuss what to consider in choosing and documenting lighting controls so they save energy and are laid out to manage lighting effectively. Finally in the third session, learn how to install the lighting controls so the construction and start-up commissioning processes are coordinated and the controls operate lights as intended.
