This 9-part evening webinar series, offered in partnership with the PG&E’s Energy Centers, provides a technical introduction to lighting for those entering the field, including designers, salespeople, energy specialists, contractors and specifiers. Each 2.5 to 3-hour module covers a different aspect of lighting and is taught by an industry professional. Topics include properties of light, human vision, light and color, color temperature and color rendering; metrics for measuring light and energy efficiency; daylighting; light sources, fixtures and controls; calculations; and lighting applications.
