If you missed David’s tour last year – this is your chance! The Golden Gate Bridge is the iconic symbol of San Francisco. While its Art Deco embellishments and International Orange color are undoubtedly eye-catching, it’s the view of the bridge at night that adds a touch of magic to the stately icon as it grows out of the bay and reaches up into the sky.
You are invited to join us on Thursday, October 8, for an IES evening tour to hear the history of the bridge lighting and walk on the bridge for a more-detailed look at its design and construction.
The tour will be led by David Malman, a San Francisco lighting designer whose 45-year career includes lighting for libraries, museums, universities, and outdoor public spaces.
