Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Energy savings calculations to document savings realized through efficiency improvements
  • Assisting with program design and implementation

  • A minimum of eight years of work experience (graduate school years applicable)

We have positions available in our lighting studio for creative and lively assistant and project lighting designers who possess excellent visual communication skills and are passionate about light to work on a range of challenging projects in the US and abroad.

Education and Skills Requirements: 

Project designers should have a minimum of two years’ experience and be versed in all elements required to produce lighting layouts and equipment specifications. For assistant designers, previous lighting experience is preferred but not required.
Candidates must have a minimum of a four year degree from a major university in architecture, lighting, design, theater or the arts. Candidates must be able to hand sketch, be experienced users of AutoCAD, Photoshop, and a 3D software; Revit, SketchUp and AGI/Visual skills are a plus.
