Tunable White; Application, Best Practices, and Specification
Charles Knuffke, Wattstopper/Legrand & Cy Eaton, Lumenetix

1.5 units IES CEU and AIA LU credits Available!

Tunable light sources are now widely available, but how can we use them most effectively? Where and how do they have a positive effect on people and demonstrate value? If you're curious about this exciting new direction in lighting but find that understanding it can seem like an insurmountable chore, Cy and Charles will show you how to design, specify, and commission installations with tunable lighting and controls in a way that's specifier-friendly. They will cover currently available solutions in the market; practical approaches to specifying tunable lighting - including matching luminaires with controls; and how to create a Basis of Design that meets the Owners' Project Requirements and a Sequence of Operations that meets energy code requirements.
