In support of the Bay Area artists, IES San Francisco is proudly sponsoring the 5th Anniversary Autumn Lights Festival in the gardens of Lakeside Park on the shores of Oakland's shimmering Lake Merritt.  The festival on October 12-15 is a collaboration of the magnificent Oakland and Bay Area art community and the public garden.

Come out and join us in the early-fall Thursday evening as a group to tour the Lakeside Park filled with spectacular illuminated artworks, lighting installations, fire dancers, live music, food and libations.  Imagine yourself immersed in acres of lush gardens illuminated with mesmerizing, larger-than-life art and lighting installations created by Bay Area artists. This wildly popular annual tradition benefiting the Gardens at Lake Merritt is easy to get to and fun for all ages.

The Autumn Lights Festival is a fundraiser for the Gardens at Lake Merritt, a free public garden that truly is the “Green Heart of Oakland”. Proceeds from the Autumn Lights Festival will fund garden improvements, including the construction of a new Garden entrance being designed by local artist Shawn Colvin. The gate will be set into a stunning setting, making the gardens the Oakland landmark it deserves to be.

In July 2016, the East Bay Express honored Autumn Lights as the “Most ‘Lit’ Festival” in its Best of the East Bay 2016 edition.  Tickets are expected to sell out early! Buy yours today!
