The IES San Francisco is offering a newly updated Fundamentals of Lighting course at the Pacific Energy Center starting Wednesday, September 23, 2015, and continuing most Wednesdays through Nov. 18th (see schedule below) from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. It will be taught by Leslie Davis, past President IES SF and Principal, Leslie Davis Lighting Design, and by Linda Sanford, lighting designer at Auerbach-Glasow-French (Oct. 2015).

The course has expanded to 8 sessions, and will cover technical and practical aspects of lighting and lighting design, with examples and discussions of applications throughout the second half of the course. The Pacific Energy Center is again providing the Lighting Classroom for our use and we gratefully use it to demo many products, and show examples of lighting characteristics such as color, techniques and light properties.
